Our mission. Our vision. Our hope.

Raleigh Avenue

Raleigh Avenue

Founded in 1956 when two small congregations joined hands for the sake of the gospel. As we near our 70th anniversary, we are more committed than ever to loving our neighbors and making disciples.

Our Mission?

It’s simple:

We make disciples.

“And Jesus came and said to them, ‘All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.’”

Matthew 28:18-20

Our Staff

  • Michael Ent

    Pastor

Pastor Michael joined Raleigh as Interim Pastor in October of 2021. In May of 2022, our church called him as our next pastor. Michael is a father of four and married to his wonderful bride, Kristi. He is a disciplemaker at heart and is passionate about loving his neighbors well.

  • Claude Rhea

    Minister of Music

Claude previously served as our Interim Minister of Music at Raleigh. He joined us full time after he retired from his position at Samford University and we are so grateful for him! He is the most friendly face in the room and leads us to worship in spirit and truth.
